Animal Science Leadership Academy
The Kansas State University Department of Animal Sciences and Industry has opened applications for a program that supports high school students who have an interest in the livestock industry and related careers.
Regional Club Day
March 19 at Medicine Lodge High School
The group of agents from Barber, Comanche, Harper, Kingman, and Kiowa counties decided that we can safely hold a Regional Club Day event. This year, it will be at the Medicine Lodge High School. The schedule will start at 8:15 A.M. on March 19.

Shutterbug Photography Events 2022
Shutterbug events are photography workshops put on across the state by the Kansas State 4-H Photography Action Team. Workshops are typically scheduled as a morning session and concentrate on a variety of aspects of composition. The events typically end around Noon.
2022 State Livestock Nomination Information Released
The state livestock nomination process is transitioning to an online system this year! This will require families to plan ahead in order to successfully complete their nominations.
Kansas 4-H Seeking Summer Interns
Barber County is hosting a 4-H Intern this summer. It is part of the State program. Please share this with any people interested in working for 12 weeks this summer. (Not required to be a college student.)
